EU in or out? Brexit: The Movie
My level-headed youngest UK son suggested that watching the weird entries from the rest of Europe in the Eurovision Song Contest was sufficient reason to get out as quickly as possible.

Don't worry about it...nothing a burkha can't hide....
The Globalists will try to fix the vote if it's close. Better get 70+ % if you want out.
EU in or out? Brexit: The Movie
IN
Reasons to remain in EU:
Jobs
Around 3.5 million British jobs are directly linked to British membership of the European Union’s single market – 1 in 10 British jobs.
Exports & investment
The EU buys over 50 per cent of UK exports (54 per cent of goods, 40 per cent of services).
Over 300,000 British companies and 74 per cent of British exporters operate in other EU markets.
American and Asian EU firms build factories in Britain because it is in the single market.
Trade
The EU negotiates trade agreements with the rest of the world. Outside the EU Britain would have to renegotiate trade deals alone. While the EU is the world’s largest market, a UK outside the EU would not be a high priority for other counties to negotiate a trade deal.
Consumer clout
British families enjoy lower mobile phone roaming charges, lower credit card fees, cheaper flights and proper compensation when flights are delayed or cancelled. These sorts of benefits could not be achieved by Britain alone.
Clean environment
Through commonly agreed EU standards, national Governments have achieved improvements to the quality of air, rivers and beaches. Good for Britain and good for Britons holidaying or living abroad.
Power to curb the multinationals
The EU has taken on multinational giants like Microsoft, Samsung and Toshiba for unfair competition. The UK would not be able to do this alone.
Freedom to work and study abroad – and easy travel
1.4 million British people live abroad in the EU. More than 14,500 UK students took part in the European Union’s Erasmus student exchange scheme in 2012-13. Driving licences issued in the UK are valid throughout the EU.
Peace and democracy
The EU has helped secure peace among previously warring western European nations. It helped to consolidate democracy in Spain, Portugal, Greece and former Soviet bloc countries and helped preserve peace in the Balkans since the end of the Balkans War. With the UN it now plays a leading role in conflict prevention, peacekeeping and democracy building.
Equal pay and non-discrimination
Equal pay for men and women is enshrined in EU law, as are bans on discrimination by age, race or sexual orientation. This benefits Britain and British people who live in other EU countries.
Influence in the world
As 28 democracies, and as the world’s biggest market, we are strong when we work together.
Britain is represented in many international organisations in joint EU delegations – giving Britain more influence than it would have alone. The EU has played a major role in climate, world trade and development.
Cutting red tape
Common rules for the common market make it unnecessary to have 28 sets of national regulations.
Fighting crime
The European Arrest Warrant replaced long extradition procedures and enables the UK to extradite criminals wanted in other EU countries, and bring to justice criminals wanted in the UK who are hiding in other EU countries.
Eurojust helps UK authorities work with other EU countries’ to tackle international organised crime such as drug smuggling, people trafficking and money laundering.
Research funding
The UK is the second largest beneficiary of EU research funds, and the British Government expects future EU research funding to constitute a vital source of income for our world-leading universities and companies.

EU in or out? Brexit: The Movie
@ tinpeeba
Oh dear, oh dear. You seem to have swallowed every untrue word of the remain campaign’s lies,
Let’s leave aside our erstwhile PM, dodgy Dave and his 4 horsemen of the apocalypse approach if we vote to leave.
Look at it logically.
Jobs:
Total number of jobs lost if we leave the EU – 74. This includes 73 MEPs and 1 commissioner. As for the 3.5 million, utter rubbish. Trade with the EU will continue without skipping a beat. We import from the EU way more than we export. The annual trade deficit with Germany alone is £27 BILLION a year. In whose interest is it for that to continue? Other European countries that are not in the EU, notably Iceland, Norway & Switzerland, trade with no problems, so will we.
Exports and Investment:
These are the same arguments being used by the same people who said it would be a disaster for Britain if it did not join the Euro. What a disaster that turned out to be. London and the UK attracts investment precisely because it is not in the debacle that is the Euro. This will continue. As for exports, the EU is a declining percentage of our exports. There’s a whole world out there.
Trade:
The EU, far from being an advantage to trade is in fact a barrier. It takes them years to negotiate a deal, and if the latest example of the TPP deal is anything to go by, we’re a lot better off out. We will be free to negotiate our own trade deals. We can re-take our seat at the WTO. And anyway, FACT, of the USA’s top 10 trading partners, 7 have no trade deal. Yet trade continues.
Consumer clout:
These things are driven by market forces, as the CEOs of both Easyjet and Ryanair have said, the EU has no effect on our business, and they are both pro remain. Roaming charges is one good thing, but how important is it?
Clean environment:
A good thing for sure, but you assume that the UK wouldn’t have done these things anyway. Maybe it wouldn’t have happened so quickly, but we would have got there.
Multi-Nationals:
Why do most M/Ns want us to stay in? Because then they have only one set of people they have to control. And they do control.
Work /study /travel:
Traveling round Europe was no problem before we, or many other counties joined the EU. I know, I did it. Carry on. As for work and study, no reason for anything to change. A few bi-lateral agreements with countries that we choose. i.e not Rumania or Bulgaria.
Peace & democracy:
You’re having a laugh. It’s NATO that keeps the peace, nothing to do with the EU. (Hang on, is this a troll post, and you really are having a laugh? Good one!) As for democracy, the EU is about as democratic as the old Soviet Union, whose model they seem to be following. The EU executive are like the Soviet Polit Bureau. Elected by no-one, accountable to no-one, and we have no means of removing them. Look at Ireland, Greece, Italy, France, Holland, countries that have had democratic votes by their people ignored. The EU is not only undemocratic, it is anti-democratic.
Equal pay and non-discrimination:
Again, you seem to assume that the UK would not have done this anyway.
Influence in the world:
We are the world’s 5th largest economy, a member of the G7, a permanent member of the UN Security Council. The 4th military power, one of the largest diplomatic missions in the wold. As a once again free and independent nation we would have far more influence than we have right now.
Crime:
No reason whatsoever that cross boarder cooperation and European arrest warrants should not continue.
Research funding:
No reason for this not to continue and even grow. The UK has always been one of the world’s leading research centres, and always will be, in or out of the EU.
Just my two pence worth.

EU in or out? Brexit: The Movie
Why do about 75% of the people I talk to say they'll vote OUT (me included), but 95% say they think we'll stay IN ?
Seems nobody thinks it's going to be a fair vote !

EU in or out? Brexit: The Movie
I am still living in the UK. I believe that those who live in the South East of England will vote heavily in favour of remaining. I think that the rest of the country will vote to leave. So, it will be a "No" and the UK will leave.
