Can someone PLEASE tell me how to change a BMP scan into JPEG image without it becoming a mirror image?

Never had the problem with old equipment but ACDsee/Win 10 and my scanner seem to be doing their best to make me pull what little hair I have left out

All windows OS has a program called PAINT, just open the file in there and SAVE AS a jpeg file. Not rocket science.

And BTW:- Set your scanner default to jpeg thru it's driver software. No one uses BMP these days - Resource hungry!

Thanks Dero ....... BTW it IS Rocket science ....... its taken nearly 6 hrs to get the friggin thing to scan as BMP and you think I should attempt to mess with DRIVER SOFTWARE ........... that sounds like a recepie for a massive repair bill or new equipment

Apparently it's Pfizer. What I heard from a well-placed source in Bangkok this morning is that 150,000 doses from the US-donated 1.5 million are reserved for foreigners---that's 75,000 people. As of this morning 30,000 farangs had signed up, and so there is a push to get as many more signed up as soon as possible to kick things off.

Don't jump the gun statts - you have registered for the first jab. The booking should (hopefully) pop up later.

My mate down in Pattaya who since late April this year, earnestly hunted down and signed up at every vaccine registration that he became aware of for himself, wife and daughter, got his first AZ shot in Bangkok maybe 6 weeks ago. Today. he knocked back the third invite to come and get vaccinated, two hospitals offering AZ and one touting a Sinopharn jab. Make that four when you add the Moderna shot that his daughter turned down as she's already enlisted somewhere else. The latest offer today was from Bangkok Hospital Pattaya who called him up and said their AZ shot was free.

OK clever cloggs I've booked a slot, for if and when it finally arrives .....thinking about it, I cant ever remember having to pre book ANY slot before whilst in Thailand ........ although I did tell one young lady in Samui I'd return the following evening if that counts

With all the reading a I'm doing of late (yes getting bored in near full self isolation) I'm thinking the chances of we, here in the rice paddies, have little or no chance of being offered Pfizer. Hope I'm wrong but looks like left over Sinovac then AZ.

NO way, i hope that the American Embassy has enough sway power over the Junta to ensure that Pfizer doses be delivered to expats. Yesterday i wanted to start preparing an email to send to the US Ambassador to thank him for the donated vaccines and urge him to apply all possible pressure on the Thai apparatus to be transparent.
Mr BD ,i predict that by the end of this week expats will have received their appointment details for the Pfizer vaccination.

Mrs Dero has just told me that yesterday there was a "fancy" truck pulled up at the Ban Dung hospital and they vaccinated all medical staff with Pfizer including doctors from the Tambon clinics, our 2 doctors as well.
She and the step daughter were there getting Sinovac. Although Mrs Dero is a salaried employee (volunteers team leader and health inspector) of our clinic she is not classified as "front line".
Apparently it had been flown up over the weekend they have road transport infrastructure in place?

saw a smaller size learjet leave Udon Airport late in the afternoon. Perhaps they courired the vaccine up on that..
