Bangkok Hospital at 6,000bht, with results in English. You do however have to collect the results in person.
Easy process and don,t have to get out of the car.
AEK were doing it for 4,000Bht but stopped because of guess what? YES Covid!!

I've just booked the drive through service at BKK hospital Udon for this coming Friday 14th.

Cost is 5,000 baht per person.

There are 3 time slots per day. If you go for the 8-10am slot results are available same day.
Results are in English and suitable for international travel.

All can be booked via the line app.

It would be interesting to compare prices - not that at the end of the day, it makes much difference.

Australia at the end of January - A$150, or TBH3650 currently. Probably a bit more expensive then based on FX.

I think we have had returnees from the US and UK (and possibly other places) since then.

My wife and I paid $300 each for guaranteed same day results. Many companies offered 24-72 hour results for cheaper. It was too iffy to risk

AEK Udon several tests last few months price rose from 3500 to 4100 Thai baht, Kazakhstan 24 dollars a test still same price

Qatar Is fixed price across the board QAR300 = 2,500 baht = US$80 = £50.

The government has set the fee that all private clinics can charge to avoid people trying to overcharge.

I did mine at the end of March in Wattana and paid 4,500 THB with a fit to fly certificate and all documents in English.
If you get tested when the doctor comes at 9am you can get the results the same day.

At the time the government hospital was 3,800 THB at the outdoor tent system they had set up.

Bangkok was 5K and the same documents in English and same day results if you tested in the morning

NOT in Udon but close by.... represents a large saving if a couple and/or family require covid testing when compared to BKKUD 5k , AEK 4,500 bt etc.

Test early morning results later same day .. test late morning or afternoon results next day

Test result language was not discussed as negative / positive pretty easy to understand in both Thai n Eng ..
In our case not being used for travel purposes but i asked and was told this is the same test and confirmation letter of result available for travel purposes... i presume in Thai but did not ask.

Thabo is 45-50 mins from Udon.

Dao n I are booked in tomorrow so more info to follow.

ive only got one pair of shorts Tam ... but that equals 2 really cos i turn em inside out when they are soiled.

Back in the real non jockenese world ... i will update our TCPH experience tomorrow whatever happens + / - hospitel or other.

I'll be interested to see the dramatic reduction in deaths (from reasons other than Wuhan Flu) in databases down the road.

Is it any surprise Thailand's spike in cases fits hand-in-glove with their renewed emphasis on testing?
When Thailand wasn't testing anybody, they didn't have a problem. Now that their testing is more robust, they're finding more. No ----, Sherlock. Is it possible those covid cases were there all along, but not worthy of the hair-on-fire response we've come to expect?

Semi covered area near the AnE dept .. well organized tho i did make my eyes watter when the swab was stuck.up.my sneck.

Now residing in one of the very nice vip looms waiting surgery tomorrow ..
