I see today a 5th released crook has now been charged in Qld. Blimey the ones being charged are all over Oz, is there no-where safe for Aussies in their own country, thanks labor, albo, oneel, giles and dreyfus. You have got us into a horrible mess.
Good lord, Sport - hopefully this 5th fugitive is not a clear and present danger to the Australian community like some of the others already taken back into custody for grievous crimes such as:
- possessing cannabis
- failure to maintain curfew, and stealing a suitcase
- failure to report and trespass
Do your knickers twist up in a bunch when you think about all the criminals who are released daily onto the streets of Australia after serving their sentences?
Or is it only when politically expedient?
LATE BREAKING NEWS - number 5 taken back into custody for breach of parole conditions back in 2012. 8)
Illegal cannabis is a crim offence in Oz apart from that green lefty territory of the ACT. Do you condone that JS or just let him go.

He stole the suitcase at a Melbourne airport, what was he doing at an airport and breached his curfew, just let him go as well.

The Afghan man NZYQ a convicted and registered sex offender charged with 9 yes 9 counts of breaching conditions. Two counts of alleged sexual assault of a woman, let him go as well and a pat on the back.

Sheilas wear knickers, I'm not a sheila btw. Those released crims done their time and authorities know their whereabouts and if they re-offend, straight before the court.

JS would you be a member of the 'Tear down all the prisons party' or the 'Never have a court party'.

Albanese is hurtling towards a one term government, with those in his own ranks stepping forward to take a more public stance, enter stage left Bill Shorten ( who lost the unloseable election to Scott Morrison ) who sees the opportunity to reestablish his profile in the event that Albanese is rejected at the next federal elections.
You can bet for sure that given this kerfuffle that there will be no early election, changed the game a lot. That means that the election can be as late as September 2025. Both parties are really wary about to many changes at the top, electoral poison. This episode will largely be but a distant memory if parliament goes full term.

As for Shorton returning, almost no chance.

You seem to be confused about your sex offenders, Sport.

NZYQ is a Burmese Royhinga, and is still in the community as far as we know.

Afghan refugee Aliyawar Yawari on the other hand has been arrested and charged with 2 counts of indecent assault.

The other 4 who have been re-detained hardly represent a clear and present danger to the wider Australian community, any more so than any other recently released criminal who just happens not to be refugee or detainee

Do you not understand that, or is it the politics of it that has you confused?

Patience Jackspratt, set aside your loathing of anything conservative and watch the scramble for the deck chairs on the Titanic as the Labor government eats it’s own closer to the next election.

Labour has had only one change in leadership in the past 10 years, the liberals have had 3. Abbott replaced by Turnbull, replaced by Morrison, replaced by Dutton whose own leadership has been shaky.

It is not unreasonable to assume you have never voted for a conservative election candidate

And the reverse TT. Given previous posts, I suspect you have voted not only mainstream conservative, but also right wing fringe, Pauline anybody?

Happy to admit I have voted liberal on those occasions where I thought they had better policies. John Howard got my vote to reform tax policy and introduce the GST.

Whistler, your crystal ball is failing you again. I have been a union member for the past 52 years and currently a state conference delegate. As an 18 year old idealist l had a strong sense of social conscience, voted labor, however as the years wore on, idealism was replaced by pragmatism. This repositioning of political view in part was shaped by the new wave of self entitlement and selfishness of the rising idealists.
Before you jump to another inaccurate assumption, no l did not come from a family of privilege, my father was a timber mill worker for some 45 years and was a shop steward until those in Trades Hall failed to support the timber workers in East Gippsland.

A union member for 52 years? When did you join, while in kindergarten? Regardless, says nothing about what shade of politics, there are right wing and left wing unions.

A state conference delegate? You have lived in Thailand since around 2008, that is 15 years ago, you no.longer work in any Australian industry. Are you seriously saying you still.pay union fees and have managed to be a union delegate, and have been elected in absentia? Assuming your outstanding reputation has had you continue in this role in absentia, how do you perform you duties to be on hand to deal with disputes, meet with management and attend union duties and meetings?

So let's do some maths, about the earliest you can join a union is age 15, add 52 years and that makes you at least 67. As for voting for Labor as an 18 year old, a total fabrication. 18 year olds only got a right to vote in 1973, that means you are at at least 68 years old.

If you were a union member for 52 years prior to arriving in Thailand, then you add age 15, to 52 years a member and 15 years in Thailand making you 82 years old. We both know you are significantly younger than that.

None of the maths supports all of these claims, nor does logic support the statement that you are a state delegate of any union in Australia.

Pull the other one.

Correct - but I did vote for several small l Liberal candidates, and did so until the conservative ideology of the lying Howard, and his successors, took the former decent party of Menzies deeper and deeper into RWNJ territory.

Where it now wallows, firmly entrenched.

Jack,

Not everybody understands RWNJ, me included. Asked Mr Google and it explained it was Right Wing Nut Jobs.

Thank fxck you were not my maths teacher, your assumptions highlight your absolute stupidity. I commenced full time employment and union membership in 1971 at the age of 17. l am still in full time employment and a member of the Australian Services Union subsiduary of Together Queensland. My maths put me at 70 years of age. I have never lived in Thailand.
Anyway enough about me, breaking news, the QLD Premier has resigned just before her caucus were about to demand her resignation. Her potential replacement is the Deputy Premier Steven Miles who could not inspire me to empty my bowels even if l had diarrhoea. The house of cards is about to collapse followed by the one term federal labor government. I would PM my current union membership/Group Certificate to you but sadly the information would be used for nefarious purposes.
