Yep, thanks to the mining industry and their exports.

Wazza the mining industry did not exist prior to 2022....hang it did....... However it was flattened by Abbott, do nothing Turnbull and wannabe televangelist Morisson killing mining exports, and barley exports, and seafood exports, and wine exports. Of course exports contributed to surplus, Albo made them happen again after the coalition waged an unwinable war of words against our biggest trading partner.

Wazza....No.1 deflector.
Whistles....No. 2 deflector.
JackySpratt...No. 3 deflector.

The 3 deflectors have said nothing regarding my comment on the previous page of the filthy slimey labor albosleazy Govts pledge to import palestinians to Oz for education at taxpayers expense. What a triplet of lefty snowflakes.

Check the bottom of your shoe, Sport - it's covered in doggy doo-doo again.

These particular scholarships have been available since 2011, including during 9 years of (abysmal) conservative governments. They are part of aid given to developing countries by Oz governments since time immemorial. :D

Morrison - probably Australia's worst ever Prime Minister - was the very definition of the old saying "bull in a china shop" when it came to relations with Australia's (easily) largest trading partner.

Sport. Ever heard the expression 'Cut of your nose to spite your face'.

Please tell me one single thing that Abbott and co achieved by their hairy chest thumping, then please tell us all how much it cost in Australian lost exports?

You want it both ways, if we have a surplus because of a good balance of trade it is because we export more to China, but it is wrong to export to China? That sir is an oxymoron.

Sport,

Find a replacement for China? First of all, there is no single market as big as China. USA has huge protection policies in place, tarriiffs and import quotas, the EU the same. India is increasing imports but not to that extent, so there are no markets big enough to replace China as a buyer of Australian export goods

Indeed it is ..... but if anyone had been paying attention, what they reported in this instance was true.

So no justification for deleting the subsequent posts on the thread.

Yes, the Mod ignored the facts of the matter in this case.

A link was provided to the Australian government website, which validated the story: TGA.gov.au

So a disreputable and fundamentally sh*t website publishes "the truth" once and all is forgiven?

Who posted the link, calling it "news" anyway?

I think you missed jack's point or interpret his post differently. He seems to be suggesting that since the statement is true, the subsequent posts are also legitimate and should be retained rather than cancelled. I do not see where he is saying readers can now trust this agency to be a reliable source of news at all times.

Yes.

I guess it takes a bit of wisdom to get what is not a particularly difficult point. ;)

ps it doesn't take too much nounce to work out who reported this.
