Re: Up loading photo's
There are 2 ways of doing this. Both ways have advantages & disadvantages.
The easiest way is to use a Photo Sharing Site.
Papafalang uses imagem to upload his.
Basically you upload your photo{s} to their site & then they give you a URL (web address) which you paste into a reply box. There it appears as a picture(s).
The advantage of this method is that the site take care of things like size restrictions & it is pretty simple to do.
The disadvantage is that if the company go out of business then all your photos disappear from the Forum. There have been a few of these over the years!!
The second way is to upload them yourself from your computer.
When you are replying to or creating a message below the area where you type are these 2 tabs. You need to click on the Attachment tab & this appears.. Click on Add Files & a screen similar to this will appear that allows you to find the photo on your PC. I am using Mint as an operating system so your 'view' will look slightly different if you are using Windows. After you have selected the file this screen will appear as the file is uploaded. You have 2 options by the file.
One is to delete it (if you have selected the wrong one, I guess ) the other is to Place inline.
If you want a picture to appear in a specific place in the text then just mouse click where you want it to appear & click the Place inline button. Some text will appear in your text, this is the picture - as shown below, You just click the 'Add files' button to add a different picture.
If you do not click the 'Place inline' button to locate the picture in the body of the text then they will automatically appear after all your text. They will be in what I think as reverse order though, the first photo you uploaded will appear last etc.
The advantage of this method is that the picture will always remain on the Forum, plus if a viewer mouse clicks on the picture then it will appear 'full size' to them.
The disadvantage is that there are size restrictions on the pictures you upload. Pictures taken with my Samsung S7 are too big to be uploaded without being reduced in size first.
There are various, easy, ways to do that - but that is a new subject!!

Hi is there an issue with uploading pictures onto the site at present
I received some pictures on my Mobile through IMO.
I downloaded/saved them on my Phone. I also transferred them onto my USB
I checked the Files sizes of each picture and they are between 200KB and 440KB.
They are in JPEG File format.
The Photo description is just several works and an number, nothing unusual
I have tried several times to upload one of several pictures into my Post, only to get the little yellow Triangle symbol (on the far right side) after it reads "Delete file".
They juts wont upload, into the Post
Any ideas gentlemen??
File size?
Format?
Other?
Origin of Picture via IMO?

The following day,it worked OK.
Earlier today, the problem uploading pictures as you described reappeared.
Added to the list of things that are probably due to the forum upgrade.

Re: Up loading photo's
I just uploaded this photo. It appears to have worked. If you still have trouble uploading photos, would you email a photo that doesn't upload properly to me, please, so we can try to figure out what's wrong?

Re: Up loading photo's
The ones it seems to hate, are the ones that I receive from Thailand via IMO ??
They are all jpeg files, but it must be something to do with the IMO file???

Re: Up loading photo's
The Microsoft Image Previewer is reporting a problem with the other files. Those are the IMO ones, right? Can you give me more info about IMO, I've never heard of it.
Re: Up loading photo's
Hi
IMO is just a messaging/phone call App, like Duo and Line, for sending messages, pictures, phoning and making video calls, to and from Thailand
Its not as popular as Line is in Thailand, but it has good clarity when making free video calls into Thailand to overseas.
It's available on Google Play Store

Re: Up loading photo's
It seems some image had .jpg extension but originally image is webp. Webp is not supported so you can use online image converter tool to convert
Tools such as
https://compressor.io/
https://www.online-convert.com/
should help

Test 4b, 7 & 10: Think I have cracked it
OK I saved the original picture that I received via IMO into my "IMO Gallery" on my phone
Then went into the IMO Gallery in the Phone and Shared it from the IMO Gallery to my WhatsApp
Then opened the picture to full size in my WhatsApp. Then went to the 3 Dots (in WA) top Right corner of screen, pressed "Share" and then sent it on to my Gmail
The downloaded from my Gmail to my USB File. Then uploaded from my USB File into Udon Map
