It's def worth reporting, at least from my perspective. When was the last time it happened to you prior to the most recent (this week's) problem?[/color]
Actually I did report it on one occasion in March 23 (page 10 in this thread)

Couldn't log in late morning. No errors, just the whole udonmap thing wasn't there, doesn't exist sort of thing.

Yes, no 404 not found type message, just "can't find it, is there a typo?" type of message. Probably my network but I have seen it before, albeit infrequently.

It's hardly a major inconvenience and I mention this only to highlight a possible system fault. I'm often asked to sign in with my username and password, in spite of ticking the 'remember me' box. Any other members too? Could it have something to do with recent tech difficulties? Or possibly something not set correctly on my own computer?

Since this is a free forum, it is costing us nothing. The forum is now working well again and I am thankful. Thank you for your efforts.

I log in from any one of three devices. Usually the saved password means it opens logged in. However, maybe 2 or 3 times a month, it will default to the log-in page but with the credentials already saved, it's only a couple of clicks.
This was before the recent login issues so probably just how the UM server automatically kicks the bots and AI stuff into touch, the equivalent of you clearing the cache in your browser to get rid of the gunk.

No, its not your machine. I get it every 3 to 4 days on my phone and occasionally on my Notebook but like Tam I'm easily logged in again.

My understanding is that the "Remember Me" functionality just saves you from having to type in your username again, but it doesn't automatically log you in.
I use LastPass, which fills in the username and password automatically.

I too have this problem but mostly when I want to post something, just to read the forum usually no problem. From what I understand it has to do with browser clearing/blocking cookies which deletes credentials.

You are correct, every 6 months or so I set CrapCleaner loose on my machines and after I am required to do a complete login into many sites. I can set options in CCleaner but never bother.

I just got on, and it's loading pages noticeably faster than normal. Are you still having problems?

FWIW, I experienced one single "SQL" login error about two days ago, refreshed the page, logged in ok and no issues since.
