How do I log on as myself into Chat rather than being logged as a guest?

I think that is WIP & Lee is working on it westerby.

We've sorted it in the chat room. It involved a bit of groping in the dark.

It entails holding one's mouse over the guest number to the left of the slot/window where you type in your message/text. Then you then get the option to change the guest number to your username, or another nickname.

The chat room is very good...easy to use much better than the old one, just click the chat option in between maps and friends in the above options bar and it should take you straight to it and you should be already logged on.

I like it a lot. It's a shame we don't have a web cam function on it so everyone can see how good looking I am.

If so, I would have to disable my webcam, wouldn't want to make Westers or 747 jealous.

Ive trie'd logging on to the chat a few time's now it tell's me the chat is loading please wait yet nothing seem's to happen am i doin'g something wrong or not clicking on the correct link.

No, it should load up straight away. Try it again.

it don't seem to load if i use IE....Firefox is ok, vlad are you using Internet Explorer..?

Yeah, seems to hang when using IE. Back to Firefox.

I just got a fatal error when I logged into Chat. Has it finally given up the ghost? Shame, I thought it was pretty coolio.

Yeah i think there are a few minor problems Goldy (are you using Firefox or IE..??), i can still see it fine, and it seems others can't.
Yesturday there was a few log on problems too...all good for me now, but i see 747man can't log on going by his message on the chat room.

Do you mean the chat room or forum..? if the chat room as soon as you get the page up you will be known as guest234 or something, to change you name just click on the icon next to the text box and use what ever name you want.
