Arjay, take a trek up to Tha Bo, using the 211.

About 500 metres before you hit the main part of town and there is a Little Rock Pub (Tha Bo branch) on the left hand side, coyote girls a plenty in there.

Also a couple of snooker halls, but the tables are wrecked :(

No probs arjay, I must admit that I was amazed to see it open last time over.

Funny thing is, was that the only regulars in there seemed to be the 5 or 6 local farangs living in town , there is also a Karaoke lounge (Star karaoke) about 100 metres further up on the same side of the road if you get bored ;)

It seems that Tha Bo is getting all the mod cons now, there's also a Tesco in town.

Just got a 5 year wait for ADSL :( though.

lived in NK on and off for the last 4 years, just enjoying the peacefulness and the occasional night of beer quaffing, alas tho now i have a business there and although it pays the bills and feeds me (us!) its not an easy game. i never thought stress would creep into my NK life but business wise it can give you the sh*ts,the mini buses from the airport now go straight to the bridge, you have to hassle the driver to drop you in town, and when the railway line opens into Laos.....well, bring on the tumble weed!
not wanting to sound negative,i love the place, but i aint sitting on a pension, although being a scouser i could try claiming invalidity benefit.....how much do they pay for som tam colon?

last time i went back they asked me to fill an immigration form in, when i questioned it they told me i had been out of the country for more than six months.
me: what happens to this form then?
hop (house of plenty!):it will go to a referee who will decide if you are classed as an immigrant.
me:and if i am then i wont get benefits?
hop: thats correct sir.
me:ahh, well if im an immigrant with no n.i. number i must be illegal and the british passport i showed you for i.d. is counterfeit, in which case you will most likely put me on a thai airways flight back to bkk, yeah?
hop: with a face like a beetrot then retrieves form and gives me the jobseekers form!
