Start and finish is at the V Viang Lifestyle Mall which is on Prajak Road in Nong Khai,opposite the LMG office.Registration is on the 2nd floor.The mall is pretty quiet but there is a Beyond Café in there which does delicious pastries and drinks.
Distances are Marathon (42.195km),Half Marathon (21.1km),Mini Marathon (10.5km) and Micro Marathon (5km).
Scenic courses which take in the Town Centre and the road that runs along the Mekong Promenade....Meechai Road,I think it is ?
Do one of these races and you will then be entitled to "pig out" over Xmas and the New Year !
Not that I think too many members will be participating
but the entry fee in US Dollars is for runners from abroad.If you are a foreigner living in this area then a good tip is to register in person at the V Viang Lifestyle Mall.You then pay just the ordinary price,as the Thais do.....eg.entry to the 10.5km currently costs 400 baht but if you pay the price for runners from abroad its now 35USD which equates to nearly 1200 baht..........quite a difference in price !
Even if you don't take part the races will be great to view as a spectator and its not far off Xmas,so should be a good atmosphere.
