Phu Foilom

Post by arjay » March 1, 2006, 1:15 pm

Phu Foilom is worth a visit. It is less than an hour's drive from Udon and is quiet during the week, though busier at weekends.

I will try and post some recent photographs.

Yes, leave Udon on the Nong Bua Lamphu road - 210 - and after I think about 5kms there is a well signposted left turn. Follow that and later the subsequent signs. The last few kms involve a gradual climb - good for motorbikes. Free admission. There are plenty of parking areas when you get there. I would suggest the last one on the left. There is also a restaurant with good music.

Watch out for roaming dinosaurs!

Well, I've found some photos, but have been struggling to work out how to upload them to the Forum. I used to be able to do it without problem, but the system seems to have changed. I seem to be able to upload them to Isara, but after that I'm not sure what happens. I've tried some copying and pasting to the Forum 1 codes, so will see what happens:

Phu Foilom

Post by Shado » January 24, 2014, 7:53 pm

We've not heard much about Phu Foilom this season. Does anyone know if the annual flower exhibit is on the schedule for this year or if it has already happened? We always enjoy the outing there but wondering if perhaps we missed it this year.
