While at UD Town (next B2S) I came across a kiosk promoting Bird Paradise Extreme Resort. It was closed, but brochures were available. Here's their web link & FB link for more inform.

That would add some definite variety under the "Things to do in Udon" column. Not quite Udon, but not far away either. Nice comprehensive facebook page.

Haven't been to it as a regular customer, but our school went there last March for a Summer Camp and on the day we were there the pool wasn't cleaned--it looked green and nasty; the climbing walls weren't open--though my students did say they opened them the next day; and the main lobby area of the central building had non-working toilets and a section of the ceiling falling down.

Now perhaps it wasn't their regular tourist season, but you would think that if you knew that a class of kids from the school you or your spouse is an alumni of, that you would have your best foot forward as it were for that day. It definitely was not the case as I had taken my own sons along considering staying if it looked good, but they were in agreement with me and disappointed, so they were eager to head home after my official duty was finished.
