First Ever Bluegrass Fest in Thailand

A growing Thai interest in “cowboy culture” has prompted organizers to announce a bluegrass festival to be held in Pakchong, Thailand. The Thailand Country Bluegrass Music festival will premere in November, 2008, according to the Bluegrass Blog.

The festival organizer, Thanit Tanitapanee, is expecting 1,000 fans to attend the fledgling event. For more information on attending or performing at the festival, visit the official Thailand Country Bluegrass Music Festival blog.
