Newlyweds wanting to obtain marriage visa to USA

My step-daughter recently married an American in November,she is now 6 weeks pregnant and they want to migrate to the USA.
I would appreciate any members that can share their experience or actual experience of others they know about,regarding the best way to go about it!USA only,thanks.
At the present time they have an L.A. immigration attorney that told them 10 months to a year to get the visa.Since she is now pregnant,they are hoping to get there faster.
