CAN ONE EXIT THAILAND INTO LAOS N BACK OUT SAME DAY?

I have exited Thailand into Laos and out on same day, several times over the years with the last being 5 years ago....

Can any member please let me know if I can still go in and out on the same day now, as I can get a 12 month O A visa...

You Can, But Only if you have the Visa ALREADY......I'm Almost Certain you have to apply But Pick up the following day,If you DON'T Already have...

As 747 indicates you are providing a little less than the full information to enable anyone to answer your question accurately.
Much depends on exactly under what circumstance that you want to re-enter Thailand & if you are not in possession of a Thai Visa, how long you want to remain in Thailand on return..

As has been said if you currently have an O-A visa: yes
If you have an extension of stay with a reentry permit: yes
If you don't have either and want a Visa exempt 30 day permission to stay: yes


However if you want to get an O-A visa:no
If you are not a Lao resident (or Loa national) you will not get an O-A visa (as you do not meet the requirements)
If you want any visa:no (the minimum time is 2 days (submitted day 1 issue day 2)

Old rule.
As of December 31, 2016, 55 countries, including Australia, get 30 days including at a land border.

It came in with the 2 entry by land limit.

Assuming it was after 1st January. The IO made a mistake.

If you are still on the 15 days

Then you can go to an immigration office and get the stamp corrected.
