No more non o multi entry visas from London

The Royal Thai Embassy in London have announced that they will no longer be issuing non o multi entry visas.
Could affect quite a few people I would think ?
Topic on Thai Visa now about it......

Fortunately the Thai Consulate in Chicago still offers type 'O' with multiple entries. But maybe they just don't know how to update their web page.
