Re: Udon Immigration online appointment booking
Good idea if it works! I can't see the people holding queue tickets being impressed if one holding an "appointment" pushes in front of em.
I thought they introduced a similar thing during the hectic Covid days?

No idea BD. I wouldn't be too perturbed about coasting past those blighted souls baking under the tent but it would be a colossal loss of face if one of the paper shufflers fobbed off my pre-printed reservation confirmation with a strident "Mai dai" and a a muttered "Farang loo mahk" to a fellow flunky.
It doesn't have a menu option for a Re-entry Permit either. I usually get mine on departure at BKK but in the interests of science and the betterment of the UM collective, I may try and book an appointment for one using this portal.
Then again, I may not.

Re: Udon Immigration online appointment booking
While I was waiting under the tent (last week), a few customers walked in without going into the queue (or, perhaps, they were already in the queue). It made me wonder if Udon has an appointment system. Now that I know, I'll try it next time.....next year. 90 day checks already done online, so no need for that.
The online appointment system won't be there for long if no one uses it. As for those waiting in the queue, I'd have no qualms about walking in ahead of them.

If you get a queue number early enough, you have time to go off and have breakfast or hit the bank/ATM for that annoying 11th-hour letter or account statement.parrot wrote: ↑May 29, 2022, 11:07 amWhile I was waiting under the tent (last week), a few customers walked in without going into the queue (or, perhaps, they were already in the queue). Agent-assisted applicants also get the fast-track inside.
