How can a foreigner acquire a land in Thailand?
Though Thai Property Laws prohibit a foreigner from owning land in Thailand, there are four alternatives for a foreigner acquire land, as follows..................

Foreigners are prohibited from owning land in Thailand.
There are some alternatives including obtaining a long-term lease agreement, a life estate (called a usufruct here), investing 40 million Baht, or owning it under a Thai limited company. Which alternative is best for you depends upon how you intend to use the land and what your objectives are. For most people, a lease agreement or life estate is a good option.
