Ok, not a problem but some advice. I had intended to buy a flatscreen monitor the next time I return to Australia but can get one here, 17 inch approx 9,200 Baht, 19 inch approx 10,100 Baht. The advantages of buying at home are warranty, standard power plug and I can use it for the next 6 weeks that I am at home.
Does anyone know the approx price I would pay in Thailand?.
Thanks
John

Strange comment but........Are flat screen monitors like TV's?...Ozzie TV's and UK Tv's can't be used in opposite countrys due to the magnetic field because the magnetic poles are opposite...Yes I know we are talking about Oz and Thailand.....But ...are they compatable?....be a shame to buy a monitor and find it won't work in your home country or visa-versa
Should not affect a monitor. If that were the case, then a lap top computer would not in the different countries.panick wrote:Strange comment but........Are flat screen monitors like TV's?...Ozzie TV's and UK Tv's can't be used in opposite countrys due to the magnetic field because the magnetic poles are opposite...Yes I know we are talking about Oz and Thailand.....But ...are they compatable?....be a shame to buy a monitor and find it won't work in your home country or visa-versa

Saw a great LCD monitor in Khon Kaen On Saturday it is the Samsung 226BW 22" Wide-screen, 13500 baht Has had great reviews and comes with a 3 year on-site warranty. I currently have 3 LG Flatron L1718s. Not bad monitors, however, one has a dead pixel and under LG warranty, they only change after I believe it is 5 dead pixels.
