My Thai friends just wonder why Farangs like to pick those ugly Thai women as their girlfriend or wife? Mostly they are dark in skin color, big but flat nose and some of them are short and fatty.

I used to have several Thai, 3 Chinese and 1 Japanese girlfriend. All of them are pretty write and having high nose. The only weatern girl I coupled is a Espanol girl from Madrid, she's thin and smooth skin texture too.

Now, I want you people kindly use your beauty standard to check if my current Issan girlfriend beautiful?

I don't see too much wrong with Quinalt's English with the possible exception of a couple of misspellings. Maybe she didn't say ALL farang wives or girlfriends were ugly but she did indicate that she thinks some or many fall into that category. This, in itself, was enough to warrant all the negative replies she received and in my opinion, rightfully so. If you're going to express to forum members that you think their choice of 'mate' is ugly, you'd better be prepared to receive all kinds of retorts... as indicated by the first reply to the OP.

have to agree with Pak. the original post from OP, expressed loneliness and lack of success in finding a soulmate. and to repeat, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder and only skin deep. maybe the OP should be looking a little past skin deep, and may find that mate she wants. obviously physical attration and chemistry is a big part of compatability, but if you are having way too much fun and companionship with someone who is not 'tv/magazine/peer pressure beautiful' and you pass up that opportunity for a relationship, just for that reason, then you are missing out on way too much fun.

Well as my first post on the topic implied I knew it would raise some varied responses. For myself, I would like to ask the young lady. When you posted you used the general term"farang" and not a clarifier, such as "a few"or "some ", so quite rightly some posters have taken that to mean, all of us. Was that your intention? All our wives are ugly? Or was it a mistake due to limited English ability?. Secondly you said your parents didn't like your first Thai girl friend.
Now you seem to imply that it was because she was Thai.Could it be however that the objection may have been because it was a "girlfriend, not because she was Thai at all. Speaking personally I know if my daughter brought home another woman as a "girl" friend, I wouldn't have liked her, regardless of her country of origin, neither to be absolutely PC would I be happy if a son brought a man home as a potential husband.Think about it!
Lastly if the physical attributes you so desire are that important, why are you looking at Thai girls anyway? Surely Chinese girls have all those in abundance?

Well, here I go again, having to agree with Val again (on the forum )

I am the first to admit, I am a complete homophobic, which I know, in this era, is not in tune with the feelings of the majority.

I personally, think that a lesbian perspective of a women's beauty, or physical attributes, may differ from that of a male, when you consider that, and the different perspectives of different nationalities,(as cyclist so aptly put), then Quinaults remarks, will be liable as we have seen, tend to attract negative or hostile responses.

If Quinault's equation of beauty, is the colour of ones skin, the shapes of the nose, the size of the nose, and how fat a person is, then I'm sorry, but it's no wonder that Quinault (or friends!!) are lonely.

This post is not meant as a slight at to Quinault, rather to maybe explain why I and others may have taken exception to her post.

I have an ex-golfing mate in England who was into big women. When we finished our round of golf we always ended in the nineteenth hole for a beer. Behind the bar was this stunning (to him) 4ft 6in, 300 pound lovely. Now he at the time was happely married with a couple kids. But he freely admitted to jerking of while having this fantacy about this woman sitting on his face.

I actually believe if his fantacy had come true he would not be around today. I think he would have suffocated.

I think the second sentence above was written to inflame and would come across as such in any language or culture. Sorry, no sympathy here.

Incidentally, I've not seen that many TGFs or TWs that fit the above description, maybe I need to get out more.

Furthermore, this reminds me of Tilo's OP about the Thai girl that was bemused about Farang men forming relationships with bar girls, although I hasten to add that I don't believe this is Tilo in another guise. More likely it has been seized upon and used to gain the required reaction.

Like i said at the start....although quinualt did post it , it was her Thai friends that where asking...and i really don't think quinalt has any idea what a can of worms she did open on this here forum....is she actually understanding everything what we write...no i think not..incidently if anyone was thinking any negatives about my post regarding her on the last page that gave a quick run down of who she is on the forum, they was all things she has posted about herself either on here or on her website.....a lot of Thais come across as rude sure you have heard the questions from some Thais regarding us Farang about Big Noses, Being fat,being a kin-eow, being bald etc etc(not that i am any of those..imo-lol) ...not intentionally but it does appear like that to us, and sure they are equally rude amongst themselves too...its not all smiles....imagine one of us joining an ALL thai forum and almost being the only farang posting on there we would want to know allsorts of stuff like what quinault does...i bet we would come across like she is to some of us.

I understand the point being made in the OP, and have heard it many times before. As said previously, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder", not forgetting "horses for courses".
