Hello. This is the OP once again. Not sure why but I decided to take a look to see if the forum was still up and the topic still active. I can't believe it's been 6 years now since the first post

I have not spoken with the original girl I posted about in years now. She was very interesting and fun to be around when we first met but I realised after a few visits she was constantly painting a picture of herself (poor me) i.e. manipulating me.
For any new visitors to the Land of Smiles, take your time and ask yourself "Would I do this at home"?

OP here. I see the thread is dead. Last post over 6 years ago. Was watching YouTube and saw a hilarious video “Ruthless Thai Bar Girl The Full Movie”.
It got me thinking about my experience I posted about here so I came back for a look.
Luckily for me I did find one of the good ones this time around. We are happily married back here in Canada.
She is working here. We are saving money and planning on retiring someday in Thailand. I still love Thailand and look forward to that.
I see someone posted that they might have run into the same girl Mark60 and I posted about. I would be curious to hear more about that if they happen to see this post.
I hope things worked out as well for Mark60 as they have for me. Good fella who deserved better.
