OK Harry here is the key you have to be drinking to read my Posts, have to read in the spirit, as they were written.

You know you've been pretty good natured about all this, so I will take the time to tell you the truth.

One. I am and have always been the worlds worse speller, I can do it but it's work. I'm retired, I don't work anymore.

Two. I don't type ( see number one)

Three I have an extreme back injury, to function beyond laying around in bed all day, I have to take pain medication, some days more the others. Personally I can't tell the difference from the effects of that from one day to the next. So my mind is saying one thing and my fingers are having a great time doing whatever they like.

When I have something to write that is serious or may effect someone due to misinformation I take the time to go to word, write check it at least three times before I post it.

Now with somewhere around 2,000 posts I can only think of three that were of a serious nature.

I like to share what little knowledge I have here with others and learn from others. But nothing I have to say generally is going to change my life or anyone elses.

As to the english language itself, after four years I'm just beginning to understand some of the usage from the originators of the language. British english and Amerian english are very different. Can't tell you how many times I have to ask what a certain word meant, didnt have a clue. I'm learning to understand. But, I can not write in that fashion.

But I do this for my enjoyment, not for employment, so forgive me, if you can.

PS...Stan, I think we're already there! Found myself talking about a sidewalk (whatever that is) the other day! Had to go and have a lie down with my truncheon! (Good old English word for you, that one!)

Ah no Stan that is the same as us speaking ThEnglish to Thais and plenty people seem to be against that (see my other thread).
Actually I like most of Rays' posts the way they are, sometimes a little "challenging" to read but often containing a good deal of common sense & information...
