If you send me your address (with an UM reference), I am happy to loan you the M-i-L as a granny substitute.

You can keep her over Christmas, and into the new year. In fact, keep her, and give me a call in about March, and I will talk to the Mrs about leaving her with you permanently :D :D :D

This Good Everything overlooks the big park in Udon, right ??
I went there last night with my girlfriend and had the Xmas dinner.
Soup was very tasty and the turkey moist and a large glass of wine for free.
Bill overall was around 2000 baht with extra beers.I think a little pricey for here but in the UK you would pay two or three times more for the same.
Very nice atmosphere with the Xmas lights and decorations.I dont think I would be sat outside in Newcastle at 8pm on Xmas day !
Overall I enjoyed it very much.Only thing was the customers seem to be affluent Thais and foreigners and I felt a little underdressed in t-shirt and shorts.

Arnold,
You know I have been called a "hansum man" many times in Thailand but never an "affluent foreigner."
You have made my Xmas, thank you :D
Please guys no posts maybe he means effluent not affluent...OK [-X

But we enjoyed the night very much.Agree with Arnolds comments about the food.
Hope next year they have roast potatoes instead of sweet potato and maybe brussel sprouts and/or cauliflower as the veg.
Overall, though, excellent food and drink in a nice setting.
