I am not sure I understand this Sizzler Salad Bar thing, which to stay on topic is not available at the reasonably priced lunch buffet at Centara Hotel. By definition "Salad Bar" contains no meat, whats the attraction

Just order the salad bar.....as it is impossible to eat a small plate full, you simply have to return time and time again.....Man i have even had several desserts before the main meal has arrived....something in my head tells me the desserts will dwindle away before i have had my main meal and will not be replenished...which we know is poppy cock....but with every visit the little person on my shoulder keeps telling me to re-visit and get more more more...quick before its all gone....get the soup...get the pasta...get eggs...get jelly...get mousse....get more cheese...more croutons..more dressings...more of everything................after 5 or so visits including a few desserts the main meal arrives.... :boogle:

All right, slow down. I'm confused. Of course I'm easily confused, so bear with me. Are you guys orgasming over the salad bar at the Sizzler or the Centara buffet?

Still trying to get over that "Salad" word chaps but thanks for trying to convince me.
Now if it said "Meat" instead of 'salad" I might be a little more inclined to go there

I have been meaning to try their hamburger at the Sizzler as I have heard some good comments about it,but I will never order their other ''meat ''dishes.I tried a combination plate of their ''meat'' and they were horrible!

One can not eat all the good variety of items from their soup and salad bar anyway,so everytime we gothere,I put off ordering the hamburger.Real sour cream, real cheddar cheese, variety of extra crispy fresh lettuces and veggies, plus desserts and fruits.

I am always overstuffed from so many trips to the salad bar \:D/

The Sizzler salad bar has a pot of pasta alongside the soup pots. Since olive oil and parmazon cheese are available, I plate some pasta and fix it out with olive oil, cheese, salt, pepper and other. The many choices for preparing your plates make the dining experience more interesting.

I thought this blog was about the Centara Buffet lunch...Do they have a Sizzler Bar there that I've missed???...The wife and I go Centara as much as we can and also the Buffet Breakfast...It's always good and has a wide variety of choices, including a variety of salads, Thai foods, steaks, seafoods, and desserts...The wife and I were regulars at the Sizzler, but we enjoy the Centara much more...Of course, to each his own.

the cost is 287 baht the food was OK but today was not worth the price carving station was slow the meat was cold they rearranged every thing so now you have to walk around & look for what might interest you
I got there at about 11.55 so every thing should be hot Not to many people there today I would estimate about 5 tables being used + mine the coffee is against the wall were the old buffet was no light over head
hard to see what your doing the cakes were good I had 4 pieces LOL I did go for seconds on the food
I will go again one time is not enough to give it thumbs down sadly no pasta sauce that what I was looking for

I have read all the posts regard to the change at the Central Buffet Lunch so I went there yesterday with the wife. What a disappointment we both had! Before it change hands we swore we wouldn’t go back and we are now determined that we won’t be returning for that sh*t food. A couple of farangs came in and had a look around then went away in disgust.
If Harry had been open yesterday (Thursday) we would have gone up to his place, for 287 Baht each we could have had a decent meal and enjoyed it

Alfronso just my opinion I do not take my wife to the buffet because she does not eat enough to warrant
300 baht so may I make a suggestion give them one more try but go alone this way you only get stung for 300
baht instead of 600 and I also found most Thai ladies rather eat there own country food I also was disappointed but I will give them a second chance and might even give them a third but after that if they
fail I no longer will go there

How come that Centara Hotel has a service charge when it's a self service buffet? I proffered it 10 years ago but we won’t go back. I would go as far as saying that there is better food at the night market.
