Tassie scallops are $30/kg at the end of the best season for 15 yrs.

H68. Some of the Chinese scallops dont have a roe and in fact arent a true shell scallop.

They use a cookie cutter and.punch out Slate /Rays then soak the fish " scallop" in a flavour . Ever wondered why they are all so round with a serated edge...

They use the NSW " Scallop " definition French originally for a slice.

Another trick of the trade is to soak fresh scallops in water overnight. They absorb the water and $30 for a litre of water pro-rata. They then shrink to the size of.
peas in meals.

In Thailand they are called " Hoi Shell " and the Shell Oil and Gas company logo represents the Shell part of that.

Got 3 gummy shark on the long line yesterday. Filletted we got about 25 kg all up.
