We have decided to increase the delivery range on average 3 km to 5 km OUTSIDE the ring road to serve the many customers who requested it. Each area has a minimum order amount as well, enquire via PM, or on our website's Chat system, etc.

The Apple Pies are the single serving version, approx 150 grams, and quite similar to what you see below, which is a slice taken from our larger full size pies.

Used the Diary online delivery service yesterday for the first time and was very happy with the food and efficient service,

Made quite a large order and I was surprised how fast it came with living so far out

was expecting the delivery boy to get lost but he had special GPS gadgets so the food was still nice and hot!

Yes, was quite easy with the GPS gear. The Chat system was / is quite useful in clarifying ordered items and location, etc.

We'll start to add in a variety of "family meal specials" for those outside town looking to have an easy breakfast / lunch / dinner @ the homestead vs. going into town.

Several who stopped in noted having tried a couple times before & simply missed it, -so to kick off the trend our GPS location now in our signature.

Last time we visited your restaurant you had no drinks licence. Has this changed do you have a drinks licence...can you get a beer or glass of wine with a meal..

I took advantage of the new delivery system from the Diary last night and was very pleased with the service and the food. They are just at the ground floor of developing a delivery system and would welcome any comments or suggestions. As with anything just starting there are some tweaks to be done. Karl says they will soon be adding Pizza to the delivery. Just take a look at the web site for a full menu.

In case you do not know, if you live outside of the stated delivery area - inside the ring road - Karl at the Diary is more than willing to work with you on that. Contact him with your Latitude and Longitude coordinates and he will tell you if you have to pay extra. I paid a bit extra as I am well outside the limits but it was well worth it. I can order fahlang food for myself and Thai food for the wife.

You can get your Latitude/Longitude via many phone apps or via the web. Try http://mygeoposition.com/. The Diary uses GPS so they do not have to call you several times for directions as many of the other delivery systems do.

Thanks for that Charlie, it was great to get the food to your door after working out the particulars, our GPS got us right to the front gate, in a fairly large housing estate. Furthest off it's been was a few meters, so got lucky with particular phone brand's hardware / software.

Indeed, we'll be adding improvements each week, and as always, customer feedback is critical to engaging one's intended market, or expanding it.

New moves include food warmer bags aside from the foam / foil / saran wrap approach. And new, branded containers.

And as Charlie noted, sites like http://mygeoposition.com/ very handy, eliminates both the language barrier usually encountered when locals ring up your phone, and thus driving time.
