I have not been in Udon for a couple of years and recently discovered The Brickhouse. In my opinion it's well above the standards of the other restaurants and offers so much more!
I have been having breakfast there and the choice and quality is perfect. I particularly like the Cheese n Spinach option which comes with bacon, fried bread and pan fried potatoes. Along with coffee and 2 toast I have till to finish it! Around 170 baht its well priced and delicious.
Also tried many dinner options and never been disappointed.
I thought this would be a wake up call for the other establishments but seems they prefer to stick with the outdated menus and service...their loss.
I must also mention the staff at The Brickhouse as they are all friendly and helpful

Had some business in town today so stopped by the Brick House for a brekkie .. i went for the mega 295 bt full English and it was excellent .. huge plate all nicely cooked .. just enough room for a slice of Udons latest craze CHEESECAKE from the chiller also very nice indeed.

Quite a few tables taken and IMO very good value at 640 bt for a good feed for 2 hungry rotund gents .. too early for a beer tho.
