I like stout. You'd be worth a visit next time I'm in Udon. Not sure when that will be as the Mrs.arrives in NZ next week. Hopefully for 6 months if she can handle a couple more months of winter. Winter here though is pretty mild. On a good winter's day it might hit a high of 19 celsius.

My inquisitive nature took hold tonight and despite very heavy and persistent precipitation i decided to venture out and do the Chris Indian curry buffet thing .... even with the rain pissing down a very good turn out and needless to say with Andy doing the fare it was brilliant with a capital B ..

3 curries Jalfrezi , Madras and Tikka , Samosas with yogurt sauce , Bombay pots , real Pilau rice with Basmati rice and nan breads , everyone who ate was in the same mind twas excellent .

Nice to see some past customers from CC there , im sure given time Chris's all you can eat curry night will grow as folks who go are bound to return .. at 250 its an absolute steal !!

Well done to all

I could not agree more DM. I saw the amount you ate and you had to enjoy it :D Better that poached eggs :D

I am not normally a big fan of Indian food but Andy outdid himself last night. We will have to call him Sahib Andy from now on :D

I am looking forward to other buffets, Indian and otherwise, at Chris' Bar. Today I will go back for an equally scrumptious roast dinner.

After a busy day on the paint brush n roller we called in just after 7pm tonight for the Indian extravaganza and the place was very busy ,, i counted between 25-30 takers for the buffet ...which i might add on a Saturday works out great for the early kick off in the EPL .. numerous UM members and some well known Udon "faces" in attendance.

It appears Chris' / Andys' Curry fest is gaining momentum which is no suprise as it is both excellent in taste , quality and value .

BTW BEST onion Bhajis on planet Earth ....................... IMO
