I lived in Hawaii and worked the cruise ships for 2 years. Loco Moco is made with brown gravy. But then again make it the way you like.

Concur normally with steamed rice, way better with SOS then just gravy.

Local Hawaiian Food that I miss the most:
Zippy's Chili and a ZipPac
Huli Huli Chicken
Ahi and tako poki
Shiro's Saimin
Diner's Teri Plate with Mac Salad, teri burger isn't bad either with a lilikoi softdrink

Yea...Loco Moco..great breakfast or anytime that said...lol Ono's Hawaiian food on Kapahulu near Diners Drive Inn great hawaiian food ..kalua pig and cabbage...fried aku bone...lau lau with lomi salmon and aku poke. And Shiro's for saimin in Waimalu . As with the Loco Moco my wife makes it....great too !......Aloha

Sorry Bubba,I wont be able to attend Super Bowl breakfast. I will be leaving Udon in the morning on my way back to Dubai and then to Afghanistan. I will be in America for about a month and should be back here in Udon early March.

Mosquito was in this morning... couldn't get him to test out our version of loco moco.

As for the Superbowl. Doors open 6AM Monday. Kickoff at 0630. We'll have breakfast items available, including some surprises

For the liquid breakfast of champions, we'll have Bubba's spicy bloody marys and home made Lynchburg Lemonade (not the pre bottled variety). If you don't know what Lynchburg Lemonade is, you don't know Jack! (pun intended)

Please note, Monday is normally a day off for us, so we will be closing after the game. I would say by noon.

Do to overwhelming popularity the fish tacos we offered as our special last week are continuing this week. As mentioned in our news letter, this was something I discoved while living in southern California and going to Rubio's restaurants (http://www.rubios.com/). The photo below is an order of two, served with our home made white sauce.
