Seafood & Grill Restaurant in town?

last january 2009 i stayed at udonthani. so many restaurants are empty.i was looking for a good seafood restaurant but hard to find. at night market i saw grill tilapia...but thats not my taste and i think the quality is not teh best one. i would like to eat a red snapper or barramundi....

I would think that is very unlikely.
Most of the major supermarkets have a good frozen assortment of fish.
The Grand used to have Sea Bass in their lunchtime assortment.
That is it, except for fresh water fish & shellfish & the octopus family.
If you want good fresh sea fish then it is Bangkok or the Islands...

If its any consolation there will be a British style fish and chip shop opening soon, in Soi Sampantanit.

Sounds good Prenders someone has found a niche in the market here especially for the English,so pies,battered sausages,pickled onions to be stocked also in the shop to make us feel at home?
Good chips are hard to find here.

You can get Red Snapper at the outside restaurant of the Charoen Hotel and White Snapper at Good Everything restaurant opposite the entrance to Nong Prajak.
You can also get Salmon at Good Everything and P i c c o l a R o m a just off the Sakhon Nakhon road,first u-turn after St.Mall.

The Wife tells me you can buy all kinds of Seafood at Tessabahn (spelling ) Market in the early hours of the morning, including Prawns and Lobster that are brought up over night from Bkk. If you don't want to cook for yourself I'm sure you can find a Restaurant that will do it for you ??
