Udon Italian is temporarily closed while it seeks out a new location. The owners were informed that they could not serve alcohol because they were within the proscribed distance from an educational institution, Ratchabat University. When they have found their new location, we'll let you know.

Today, we welcome Udon Italian, a new Italian restaurant behind the Udon Hi Tech Night Bazaar. Udon Italian is a little upscale from the normal Italian restaurant, but main dishes start as low as 90 baht. The proprietors are an Italian gentleman and his Thai wife, -- she spent 10 years in Italy with him, and learned how to cook from his mother! Opens for dinner at 6 p.m.

Apparently they are not allowed to sell wine because of the location, -- within the proscribed number of meters of an educational Institution, Ratchapat University on Tahan Road. I received an email from the owner saying the he will be in a new location soon. Watch here for details!

Well that's a complete nightmare, all that effort and they get that thrown at them .

Shamed...but probably he not have some good contact in police station ...when they give them the licence ...they not check location and rules ??? Amazing Thailand...
