Bill (Kinaree Restaurant)
Bill (Kinaree Restaurant)
Yesterday evening I had dinner at the Kinarree Restaurant. A lady there told me Bill had a motorbike accident a few days ago and is currently recovering at AEK Udon Hospital. Luckily it was nothing too serious but has a broken jaw bone and a few cuts and bruises. He may be able to leave Monday if everything is OK.

I heard that to, hope he gets better soon. Btw, his name is Bill.

Ah yes, I'm sorry about that, that's what I was meant to say.jorg wrote:Btw, his name is Bill.

Hi Guys, Bill here from The Kinneree.
Glad to report I'm still in one piece. I had an operation on the right side of my face. There was a 20% compression fracture of my cheek bone as well as a broken jaw. The operation was a success and I'm back home now, although taking quite a bit of rest, pain killers, anti inflamatories and anti biotics. Any one who knows me will tell you I always wear a helmet, but recently have not. Please guys, learn from my lucky escape (yes I count myself as lucky) and wear a helmet....even at night!
Thanks for your kind messages and even bigger thanks to those who came to visit me (Jan from A Beer Too Far and his lady, Lalita and Stretch from The Aussie Bar, Paul, Keith, Me, Tape and A from The Kinneree). Also Steve from The Sports Bar and Seamus from The Orange Moon, who came to visit about 20 minutes after I was discharged. Getting a visit from you all was truly unexpected and was better than any medicine I can tell you.
So....if anyone cares to take a peep at The Udon Thani Elephant Man.....pop up and have a drink with me. If I'm in my accomodation, just ask the staff to give me a shout. Now......where's that straw?????
Cheers =D>

hi Bill, "Patrick" from the Orange Moon here. Don't know where you got "seamus" from, no dought you were still concused. Pleased to see you are making a good recovery.

Hi Patrick (Seamus)
Not quite sure if it was the bang on the head, the medication, or the fact that I'm naturally scatty. But anyway Eric, I am making a speedy recovery thanks, and no doubt I'll see you up at my place for a breakfast or down at your place for a beer or three!
Cheers

Bill, You are a GEM. Thanks for all the good comments. I am please you are looking so well again, and yes, lets all take good care on the roads. Your place is beautiful, and yet you always find time to drop in for a beer and a chat. Good friends are worth their weight on gold! (Pardon the old cliche) And I am glad to count you among my friendly riches. =D>
