Night Market Get Together
and what would that be? Personally, I like that night market. A variety of inexpensive food, beer and eye candy galore.aznyron wrote:Is that right, what's he going to do perform magic trickslet me voice my opinion I think Glen would make your evening a evening of fun and enjoyment
with out all the B/S of the N.M
But whatever the majority decides on I'm for it either way.
I agree that both venues are excellent choices, but IMO it's not the venue that makes it "fun & enjoyable". It's the people that attend the get togethers that make it entertaining.
I also agree that NM tends to get crowded, especially on football nights. But it's never been a problem. I tend to favor the NM, because I bring the family along. If my wife gets bored she can go for a walk with little one and my son can go off and play playstation games at the shop nearby. So for me it's win win.

I agree with Rito, the NM has just too many 'other' attractions that makes it the most desirable. I've never been there that we didn't have enough seating, the food is good (and cheap) as well as the beer/drinks. Plus you can do some shopping in the immediate area if need be... definitely a win/win situation.
BTW, HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!

I go along with that, the girls like to go off shopping around the market stalls, the kids have the games arcades, and we can oggle the beer girls.papaguido wrote:I agree that both venues are excellent choices, but IMO it's not the venue that makes it "fun & enjoyable". hmm, couldn't have anything to do with them SM gals, could it. since every place is selling alcohol while the race track is open. believe it starts wrapping things up around 6pm.racetrack instead
i'm a BYOB man myself, since that's my friday/saturday stop anyway, i'll be there if anyone out and about.
now planning things would of been nice, since they announced last week that this weekend also would be a bit dry. could of had a small barrel of tiger put aside, paid in advance for us. where are our heads?
lets try our luck at mixology. or simply grab a couple and put in a cooler. not that hard. best part, if no footy, the place will be quiet, though no beer gals to gaze at.
