Nice meeting you, well the ones that I can remember! Nice night out indeed and uncannily, I managed to escape without paying for one of them beer tower thingies (must be my innate Scotish guile). I will be in for the January thrash so looking forward to sussing out the real lawn bowlers from the lone ballers.

Nice escape Dave. There was a half-hearted police check point just over the railroad track on Phosi headed east; opposite the market. I saw it at the last minute, dropped the window, cranked up the Rick Astley, sang along with arm out the window and was waived through. Must admit my arse did pucker thinking of Her Excellency having to wake up and come and get me.

I also want to ad it was a great evening for all of us if I am permitted to say that sorry I forgot my camera
but I will make sure I bring it with me for the Christmas party at the resort. I am still waiting for whiskybravo to post last months photos I understand he is back in Sarah Palin country (Alaska)

had a good laugh last night , nice to meet the new faces , ray charles , tamada , ba bob , and virgin prune . of the regulars there was , morti , stan , ron , jetdoc , puddledave , ralph , pops , trubrit , papa , jimbo , paka and geordie , plus an assortment of loverlies . if i missed anyone i appologise . had every intention of leaving early but was enjoying it so much stayed on till near the end . jan was a bit miffed but hey , sh~t happens right . at least i caught the awards , the winners were , trubrit ,best dressed . morti , most colourfully dressed . stan , owner and pet lookalike . geordie , longest drool over the tiger girl with the hot legs . ron , for the longest story . and finally pops for the best earings . see you all next month i hope and have a great christmas and new year .

Ban I did not bring my camera to the meet I forgot it sorry and last month whiskey bravo brought his and he is a much better photographer than I am and he also had a excellent camera so I left the job for him but sadly he the lazy one he did not post them as of yet but in the future I will bring mine hopefully if I do not forget I will bring it to the Christmas party at the resort merry Christmas

Fussy, I wish to thank you for bringing the Christmas Cake. It was only after seeing it that I realized I had actually seen one before... only us 'colonials' call it 'fruitcake'. It was quite tasty.

Pakawala, "fruitcake" is, as the name suggests, a cake with fruit in it
Christmas cake has lots of nuts as well, and the fruit is usually soaked in Brandy for 48 hrs before being added to the mixture (a normal size cake will use 1/2 bottle)
and of course the xmas cake is covered with marzipan and icing sugar.

However it was made it was very tasty. Thanks Fussy =D>

Statto - I'm well aware of the ingredients required for a 'fruitcake' and the fact also that it is normally well doused in rum. In fact, you may have heard one of us colonials say someone is, "nutty as a fruitcake" precisely because we know of the ingredients therein. And, yes it was good

Another enjoyable evening at NM.The fruit and nut cake was really tasty.But It gave me heartburn after.Then later, azburn too!
There was a small discussion on the possibility of moving the meeting point across the way to UD centre.
There is same facilities there as the NM.Plus live music.Bright lights and seems good atmosphere.
Just a thought.Three members were interested what about you others?

I suggest that one of you more skilled PC addicts out there start a poll and see if we should move to the UD Center. I'm all for it.

Have you done a recce on the UD centre? One thing struck me was it is VERY loud. Saturday night in NM when football is on is ok and you can maintain a conversation but any time I have been in UD they have blasted out Thai rock music (Clash/Potato etc) that you can still hear after you cross the road and on into Centrepoint.

Suggest you send an advanced party Captain Mortimer sir and report back to the troops.
