Mawlid al-Nabī

Mawlid is an annual festival commemorating the birthday of Muhammad on the traditional date of 12 Rabi' al-Awwal, the third month of the Islamic calendar. A day central to the Sufi tradition of Sunni Islam, the Mawlid is also celebrated by Shia Muslims.

Thanks for highlighting this Tam .. i had a cracking Mawlid Nabi weekend and for those that didnt partake you missed a real treat with some traditional costume , spicy curry balls and music in Accoustic .... the clocks ticking again 364 days until the next ..CANT WAIT !!
