I don't think it's the bigoted Pauline that once ran a fish and chip shop wazza.

NZ uses a mix of these words. We'd say potato cake or fritter but not scallop, togs (when I was young), rubbish or dust bin but not garbage bin, drinking fountain, suitcase or bag but not port.

I would have thought we might mirror News South Wales but no we don't.

Another way of describing Gina from my Sydney perspective and slang when I was growing but very similar to the southern brothers would be

As ugly as a hat full of torn ar,eholes

and or
