Christmas and New Year

Post by Khun Paul » December 20, 2008, 6:11 am

HAPPY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR

After reading all the new posts, I was amazed that no-one has taken the opportunity to say the following;

I personally wish all readers a very Happy Christmas and a good, peaceful, healthy and could we say prosperous New Year.
One could walk around and speak to all friends, however due to the distances involved and time constraints, I really thought this would be an opportunity to start a post where one could wish the above to all of f our friends, so please use this post to that end.

Thanyou for being there when people want you, I know I may never meet some of you , but I know you are there. Thanks.

Good idea Paul. I'll include the following for all our politically correct friends on the forum:

Please accept with no obligation, implied or explicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, 'Christmas,' practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasion and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all.
I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling, and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2009, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great. Not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country nor the only America in the Western Hemisphere. Also, this wish is made without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of the wishee.

To the rest of you, Merry Christmas and a Very Happy New Year! \:D/ :guitar: :drunk: :love:
