Looks like a Self-Storage concept for humans (from homo erectus onwards). Those who sleep there still have to park their cars or bikes somewhere else though.
In poorer regions - like Isaan - people might prefer to sleep in the capsules rented for their bikes.

Not for the claustrophobic.
I'm sure some people will use them but personally I'd rather sleep on a hard plastic chair in the middle of a busy airport than in in one of those coffin sized boxes.
Better yet, spring for a room at the Amari.
