Jomtien man jumps from high rise

Japanese Man jumps to his death from his Jomtien Apartment.

Police Captain Somporn from Dongtan Police Sub-Station located on Jomtien Beach was called to the Jomtien Plaza Condotel in the early hours of Sunday Morning to investigate reports of a foreign man jumping to his death from a high floor. Security Guards prevented our journalist from entering the complex, however we understand that the victim of this apparent suicide is Mr. Kawamoto Kazuya aged 69 from Japan who lived in apartment number 2009 on 20th Floor. He apparently fell 15 floors onto a flat roof on the 5th Floor of this 30 floor apartment complex. Police spoke with a friend of the deceased, Mr. Nishimoto Hirdaki who explained that Mr. Kazuya was suffering from the late stages of Lymphatic Gland Cancer. An apparent suicide note was left inside the room which was written in Japanese. It stated that he no longer wanted to continue living because of the pain associated with his Cancer. The Japanese Embassy in Bangkok have been informed and are currently conducting their own investigation into this Suicide.

whilst i feel sorry for him and his family, you also have to feel sorry for the people that have to clean up the aftermath and the people that witnessed it, must be a better way to go.

Maybe he was a sleepwalker? Most of us have had dreams of falling, right? They say if you don't wake up before you hit bottom then you're a goner.

Probably a drug-induced jump, in reality. Sad exit.

Better than waiting for cancer to finish the job, IMHO.

I'd say relaxing in a warm bath and simply opening a vein is a better way to go. That's how the Romans used to do it.
