Swiss Man wanted by Police following alleged knife attack on Walking Street Bar Girl.
In the early hours of Wednesday Morning, Police Major Wittaya from Pattaya Police Station was called to the Yensabai Condotel in South Pattaya following reports of a foreigner who had stabbed a Thai woman. Rescue Workers were also on-scene to attend to the apparent victim in the case, Khun Pacharin aged 31 who works at a Beer Bar on Walking Street.
She was taken from the bar by a Swiss Man and taken to room number 1122 on 11th Floor of the condominium. The woman, who sustained a stab wound to her left shoulder, but was not seriously injured, explained that a fee for her services was agreed upon and after the pair had finished their love-making the woman asked for her money which was not forthcoming.
She claims she was forced out of the room and during a struggle she was stabbed by the Swiss occupant. Police attempted to speak with the man who refused to open the door to officers. Evidence of blood droplets were collected in front of the door and the case will be referred to the court who are expected to issue an arrest warrant for the unnamed Swiss Man in due course. Police would also like to speak with him to ensure that the chain-of-events leading up to the alleged attack are similar to that described by Khun Pacharin or if there is more to the story.

Love-making? They were shagging, bonking, he was boning her, she was riding the baloney pony. But love?after the pair had finished their love-making

My Tattoo is Better Than Your Tattoo...so there.
Two-Man Street-fight over bamboo tattoos in South Pattaya.
In the early hours of Thursday Morning, Pattaya Police were called to a fight in progress outside a motorbike repair shop in Soi 17, South Pattaya. Two men were fighting each other and had both sustained injuries including stab wounds.
The men appeared to be fighting because of tattoos the two men were showing off to each other. The incident began when the two men, who were part of a larger group, went drinking together.
Khun Tirashai aged 23 lifted his shirt and showed-off traditional Buddhist Bamboo Tattoos on his body which he claimed would protect him from shootings or stabbings. The other man, Khun Gitisak of the same age, then lifted his shirt to show-off his tattoos which he claimed would offer him the same protection.
This soon led to a physical altercation where both men stabbed, punched and kicked each other to test out who had the better protection. Both men came off with injuries and were later arrested and taken to Pattaya Police Station where they were charged with criminal damage and fighting in a public place.

PAD PROTESTS NOW IN PATTAYA – GRAVE CONCERN FOR THE CONSEQUENCES
Following the grenade attack on the People‘s Alliance for Democracy (PAD) in Bangkok in which one protester was killed and 22 others wounded, a group of the PAD from Chonburi and the surrounding district have joined in the protest against the government of Somchai Wongsawat.
At about 1:30 pm on the 20th November about 1000 PAD supporters gathered outside the Banglamung District Office. They demanded Mr. Mongkol Thamkittikoon, Banglamung district chief officer, listen to their grievances, including their claims that the earlier attack in Bangkok was connected with the current government and ex-PM Thaksin Shinawatra.
The protesters were told that Mr. Mongkol was away on other duties but Mr. Prateep Konyoo, deputy chief officer, would take care of the situation on his behalf. However the protesters were not satisfied with his response and moved their demonstration to the Banglamung Police Station where they demanded to see the Superintendent but he was not available.
The PAD have subsequently decided to build a protest stage and invite all PAD members in Pattaya and the surrounding areas to gather together at the site in front of Banglamung Police Station.
There is concern that this demonstration could escalate into a serious situation which could have dire consequences for the city of Pattaya.
PDN will continue to update its readers on any developments.

Ladyboys resorted to thieving to pay rent

Cashless wallet a big disappointment
[DSCF0659.jpg]
Crime suppression officers in the Pratumnak area were alerted that two trannies, maybe under the influence of a banned substance, even as they were riding a motorbike in a wobbly manner. At the police station, they admitted without further ado that they had robbed a few people not because they were evildoers but because they had no alternative if the rent was to be paid.
Thus they agreed they had stolen the heavy looking wallet of an Indian guy in front of the Saeng Kaew Hotel near the Bali Hai pier. However, they agreed they were very disappointed to discover that the wallet contained no cash at all but only the address of an Indian restaurant and a discount card for foot massage parlour.
Police also tested the ladyboys for drugs and their urine changed colour to purple which meant they had been breaking the law. Both men said they were sorry but it was very hard having a good time when you are permanently bankrupt. None the less, they will have to answer charges of drug taking and attempted theft.

Peeping Tom failed in dire rape attempt

Villain worked at mattress showroom
[DSCF0652.jpg]
A four storey apartment house near Central Road was the setting for a dismal story of sex and violence, which caused police officers to set off there in a big hurry. On the third floor, they found a woman lying naked on the floor and screaming in pain even as she pleaded for assistance. She was identified as Miss Wannisa Supanburi, aged 22, who had been attacked with a knife which was found on the kitchen floor (useful evidence indeed).
The owner of the apartment house Mr Tanakit Tanaworapat said he was watching the TV and minding his own business when he heard agonizing cries of despair. Going to a neighbouring room, he found Miss Wannisa in a dire condition. The victim was able to let him know that she had been attacked by a villain whose name she did not know, but she did recall the face most clearly. Indeed she had seen him hanging around a mattress retail store and lived as her neighbor in the apartments.
[DSCF0617.jpg]
She continued that she was having a shower when this shady character of evil repute climbed in through the bedroom window with a purpose which was as obvious as it was obscene. In the event she was able to resist his attack but not before the unspeakable fellow had stabbed her and run off with her motorbike key. Other residents in the apartment house confirmed that the guy was a bad egg and a bit of a peeping tom to be sure.
Police decided to stake out the suspect’s room but were nonplussed when a woman appeared, identifying herself as the suspect’s wife who worked in a beer hall. She confirmed the knife was from her kitchen and told investigators that the name of the man was Sarayoot Suwansree who was 29 and originally from Kalasin. His place of work was the mattress factory and showroom and he was known as a heavy drinker and usually bereft of cash funds.
In due course, the suspect was arrested but denied all the charges. He claimed to have been at a boozerama at the sensitive time and added he had never robbed anyone or gone around sticking a knife in people. But his wife grew angry at this hopeless defence and started a fisticuffs which police had to separate. At length Mr Sarayoot was formally charged, but it will be a while yet before a shrewd judge will give the definitive judgment.

"The Ladyboy Story".
"The Shower room attack"

A good tip....carry 2 wallets one nearly empty but a few 20 baht notes and the other for the real cash/cards, so when being mugged hand over the one with 20 baht notes in.However, they agreed they were very disappointed to discover that the wallet contained no cash at all but only the address of an Indian restaurant

A lover spurned can be most dangerous
A 22 year old worker at a gay bar in south Pattaya was found stabbed on soi Kawpaw 4 and immediately dispatched to a nearby hospital as his ribs had been pierced. Mr Shinnawat Omsin had apparently been stabbed by a ladyboy who was standing nearby with a sharp instrument in his hand and weeping bitterly.
[Bang-4.jpg]
Mr Chatree Fodsoongnoen, aged 24, admitted he had used the knife on his lover after being told that the affair was over and that he anyway preferred the intimate embraces of a member of the opposite sex, to wit a real woman. During a discussion about the breakup, the two men had become angry with the ladyboy saying he wanted to carry on as before and the other guy commenting he was fed up to the back teeth,.
The matter looks rather serious with a charge of premeditated attempted murder decidedly on the cards. Two friends of the violent ladyboy said they had attempted to persuade their mate that there were lots of other fish in the sea, but Mr Chatree had replied that others were simply not the same. However, you can’t always keep what you initially hook in this earthly existence.

Mystery of the lost Monkey in South Pattaya.
There was drama in Soi Pattayaland 2 in South Pattaya on Friday Afternoon as passers-by spotted a monkey which appeared to have lost its way. The Monkey entered a number of shops and started to throw retail items around. How the Monkey arrived at this location is a mystery, however its welfare was of primary concern to everyone and Public Health officials were called in to catch the animal.
A Vet armed with a gun loaded with a dart containing medication to render the animal unconscious was called in, however after 3 hours; the Monkey could not be caught and disappeared in a shoe shop, never to be seen again.

Police went initially to Banglamung hospital where doctors and nurses were involved in a titanic struggle to save him before his transfer to Chonburi hospital where more specialist assistance was

available.
Mr Chamnan (Nid) Boonsang, aged 28 and a painter by trade, was the victim. His relative Mr Sorayoot said that there had been a party at his home and that everyone had become rather drunk, a tendency which is very common at fun sessions. One of the other guests Mr Jack was thought to have been the guy who fired the shots after the party degenerated into the taking of methamphetamines.
Investigators said they needed to interview Mr Jack, and another party goer Mr Moo who was in the room at the same time, to ascertain whether this was a deliberate shooting or an accident brought on by a heated argument under the influence of most harmful substances. The two men sought by police had done the disappearing act but officers are confident they know where to find them.

Re: Odd Pattaya News Storys...post here if you like, up to you.
In the early hours of Friday morning police based at the booth at the corner of Soi Chaiyapreuk 1 and Jomtien Beach Road were roused from their slumbers by the sound of a single bullet being expelled from a pistol.
Recovering quickly from the shock, officers were galvanized into action and took after the shooter, who was on a motorbike, catching up with him at the entrance to Soi 4 on Jomtien Beach Road.
They arrested the man, a 35-year-old Thai national, who then produced a ‘get-out-of-jail-free’ card in the form of a warrant card, revealing he was in fact a police corporal attached to the narcotics bureau.
Despite this fact, the officers still placed the man under arrest and brought him back to the station to explain his unauthorized use of a firearm in a public place.
The corporal claimed he had lent another firearm to a fellow officer and wanted it back. He said he had been unable to get an answer from his friend’s mobile phone, suggesting that even though it was around 4:00am, no self-respecting person would ever turn their phone off. The corporal said he became angry and decided to fire a single shot into the air to express this anger.
Senior police officers have decided to forward a report of the proceedings to the corporal’s superiors for their consideration. It is not certain if this will result in the man being promoted to captain or given a slap on the wrist.

Kathu man confesses to grizzly murder of neighbor while drunk
KATHU: A Kathu man confessed to the shooting and stabbing to death of a neighbor on the morning of November 23.
Under questioning at Tung Tong police station, Wichian Choosri, 38, stated that he killed 39-year-old Nitti Limboot while in a drunken rage earlier that morning.
A neighbor of Mr Wichian reported the murder to the police, who arrived at the scene off Wichit Songkraam Rd Soi 4 in Tambon Kathu to find onlookers crowded around Mr Nitti’s body.
Partially decapitated and lying face-up, the victim had been shot in the head and had had his throat slashed.
He had also suffered deep lacerations to his legs and arms inflicted by a rubber tapping sickle. Around him were hundreds of rubber saplings, some splattered with blood.
An investigation of the area uncovered one .38 caliber bullet casing on the ground in front of a small, one-story wooden house located about 20 meters from where the body was found.
After Kusoldharm Foundation workers took the body to Patong Hospital, police continued their investigation at the scene.
As they did, Mr Wichian arrived with 42-year-old local resident Liam Thepkaew.
Still drunk and covered with bloodstains, Wichian confessed to killing Mr Nitti in a fit of drunken rage.
Under questioning at Tung Tong Police Station, he told officers while still clearly drunk that he had had a fight over politics with Mr Nitti a few weeks before.
When he saw Mr Nitti driving down the soi on his salaeng (motorbike with illegal sidecar attached) towards the main road, he stood in the middle of the soi to block his path.
He wanted to “clear the air†and settle their differences, he told police.
However, when Mr Nitti refused to talk to him he pulled out a .38 and fired, hitting the victim in the head.
Mr Wichian then went back to his house to get a sickle, which he used to sever the victim’s neck and slash his throat, arms and legs.
He then went to tell his neighbor Mr Liam what he had done, he said.
However, police noted discrepancies in his story and will investigate further. They think the failure to recover a .38 caliber weapon at the scene may mean that another person was involved.

These open drains are getting to be a pain. Remember when Uncle Alan spotted a few of them in UTH when he was out driving? I'll bet this particular one didn't even have a branch sticking out of it.
