Waste of Time

Post by Laan Yaa Mo » June 21, 2024, 12:48 pm

Well, this solved nothing except the two men under investigation are back at work. So much for the end of the career of Big Joke.

One wonders if any of this will have an impact on the charges against the Prime Minister and Thaksin.

Big Joke is only a minor player in the much bigger joke that is Thai politics, and the ingrained and never ending institutionalised corruption.

The victims being the everyday Somchai and Mali.

It should come as no surprise that the names of Prawit and Prayut have emerged in regard to this.
Gen Prawit Wongsuwon, leader of the Palang Pracharath Party, meanwhile, denied any involvement in the 40 senators’ move against Mr Srettha, saying that although some of them are his friends or close associates, they have their own stance on the matter.

A close associate of former prime minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha, who is now a member of the Privy Council, also dismissed speculation that Gen Prayut had something to do with the senators’ move, even though some of them are former classmates from the Armed Forces Academies Preparatory School.

Back and forth we go like a ping pong match. 'Big Joke' Surachate Hakparn has lost his job again according to a decision made by the Police Commission.
Police Commission members voted unanimously on Wednesday to back the order of the acting national police chief to dismiss Pol Gen Surachate “Big Joke” Hakparn, a deputy chief, from the force over his alleged connection with an online gambling network.

The 12-member body chaired by Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin spent three hours discussing the issue before reaching its conclusion.

Pol Gen Surachate, a high-profile figure with a flair for self-promotion, has attracted unwanted publicity in recent months because of allegations that he and four subordinates were involved in money laundering for the BNK Master gambling network.

The ping pong ball is back in the court of the Prime Minister and the Police Commission. Big Joke plans to sue the 12-man Commission for dismissing him, a judgment that he says is unfair. Right.
