The programme I saw on the History channel, (about a series of UFO sightings around RAF/USAF Bentwaters, RAF Lakenheath and Rendlesham Forest in 1980) was intelligent and factual, in as much as it presented documents, people's recollections, (which included a significant number of US and UK military personnel), recorded accounts of things that were observed at the time the events took place, including radar tracking as well as personal observations. It then went on to discuss and debate what could have caused the (UFO's) things observed and accompanying events.
It wasn't fiction or exaggerated speculations. I saw it as a documentary. It didn't tell you what to conclude, but aired and examined the facts of the events.
I found the programme interesting, stimulating and enjoyable, not to say convincing.
Generally speaking I keep an open mind on such things.

Like Git I saw similary things in Los Angeles around 1988 and in company
with other people, no one drunk or on anything else either.
( and like Git, we did not report it either )
Some 10 years later I saw a program about UFOs and some body had taken a
film in Callifornia with exactly the same things as I saw there.
When one see it, that´s it.

I am sure their programme on the flying wing design coming from a purported UFO crash in 1947 in Roswell, New Mexico was interesting, stimulating, enjoyable and convincing for someone that did not know the conceptual history of the flying wing design.
The claim of their show, at least from one on the show as advertised, is 'to give a scientific eye to the question of UFOs'. Their fatal flaw is that 'extraterrestrial UFO' is their default answer for everything; therefore, anything that they cannot readily explain within the hour of their programme is their default answer or it is implied. Of course, they go through great lengths in trying to show why everything else could not or might not be the answer without going through the same effort of showing why it could not be an 'extraterrestrial UFO' or in the example I gave, omitting relevant indisputable historical fact against what they proclaim to be true.

I just don't buy we are all alone in this universe for one we don't even know the size since it
go be on one imagination or intelligence. maybe there is no life in the one we live in but they have found other solar systems but unable to travel there JMHO

The particulr one show Arjay was talking about was interesting. There have been othres if you took out the drama would intersting. I think the drama the one guy tries to create sends the wrong message to most resaonable people\, I have to ignopre him adn listen to eye witness infermation, military reports and not their explanation of them
The Ghost Hunters is a different one them you saw. Actually find ones they believe are false and have found some scams and reported them it's on Star channel 37.

In the Ghost Hunters one of the things they look for electro amgnetic field and the they try to search out the source. Their theory, is those fields can cause people to imagine things that are not there. They also come up with recorded information that would be pretty hard to explain. True not true how would I know. But, it presented well and enjoyable to watch. I think the opnly screaming I have seen I when one guiy runs across a spider
