Bordeaux city hall on fire.
Garbage in Paris streets.

Re: Is Paris Burning?
Just my bloody luck, booked flights to Paris only last week, thinking it will be nice for a short holiday end April. Hope they sort themselves out before then!

French take action and their govt listens to what their problems are...........
Brits are "offended" and "upset", do nothing and the govt walks all over them
deankham, look on the bright side there wont be any rubbish in the street (ash maybe but no rubbish)

never try to change an entitlement or take it away.. The masses don't like that. It doesn't matter if the French social seucrity system is creaking under the threat of running out of cash.. By god!! Its Liberte', Egalite', Fraternity!! nope, scratch the last...

Interesting that retirement age in France is still 62 years old. Good on them for standing up for themselves. With my age I would not be able to get UK state pension until I'm 67, however they are already talking about raising that to 68!!
