Australia: Labor appoints an antisemitism envoy

Bridget McKenzie, an Australian Senator just appeared on Australia B.C. She gave a compelling speech on the rise of antisemitism in Australia, and the ineffective approach of the Prime Minister in doing anything about the problem. I don't have the link to her answers from ABC, but it seems she gave a similar talk to Sky News. I am getting to like Australian politicians of all stripes. They seem well-spoken and in touch with issues.

At about the same time, the Australian government has appointed an envoy to look into the antisemitism problem in Australia:

Jillian Segal will serve a three-year term and report directly to Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese. Australia has appointed a special envoy to combat anti-Semitism amid concerns that the war in Gaza is fuelling community tensions.
