I get your point but it diverts from the hard question. Cuomo was praised by a number of celebrities and politicians for his covid policy and his subsequent book in which he lied. The Florida Governor seems to be ignorant and very few people outside the anti-vaccination crowd admire his approach to the Wuhan flu. Yet when it became known that Cuomo was bogus and had sent 15,000 people to their deaths, did his former admirers turn on him, and demand that he resign? No. Why? Why was it that his lies about covid deaths and misguided covid policy not seen as important as his sexual improprieties? Why did they not ask him to resign before the sexual issue emerged?

It is not so much a matter of one over the other. It is a conglomeration of things, the entire body of work, that did him in. If the flood of assault allegations had been first and the covid deaths in nursing homes all come next, then the covid deaths would have been the straw. Even the complicit media gets to a point that they can no longer shill for their heroes.

However, the blindness of the Left to death should come as no surprise. This is the group that is pro abortion, infanticide and even some who favor geronticide. Their surrogates destroyed and burned American cities and murdered dozens of innocent people during the summer of 2020. 1.When you are all part of a clicky group, you will turn a blind eye to the misdeeds of your friends/compatriots, even if it is a criminal or illicit act.
2.When you are part of a bunch of hypocrites, with no moral rectitude/integrity or no sense of righteousness, you become complacent with being, another As..hole and ignore your own acts and those of your friends
3.When your only purpose in life is to extend your own wealth, ego and ultimate power, with blatant disregard for others, you don't really give a F..ck about applying the Laws to yourself or your friends
