Our flag is a very minor issue compared to the most important democracy in the world undermining its own electoral system. Dodgy politicians outside the US might be tempted to do something similar. There are many fragile democracies and the US is now one of them.

Currently I would not call America the most Important democracy in the world. Democratic it appears to be but in reality with what is happening that accolade has slipped to almost be around the waist.

Perhaps gun sellers - both public and private - should be required to include a book of "Consolidated Thoughts and Prayers" with every weapon they sell.

A leaflet would suffice for sales of ammunition and/or multi-round magazines.
