UK soldier beheaded on public street in London

Post by Astana » May 24, 2013, 6:43 pm

A pedestrian was rundown by a car, the two people in the car the driver and the passenger got out of the car and attacked the pedestrian that they'd just knocked over with metal objects namely large knives and a meat cleaver until the pedestrian was dead, then the driver and the passenger of the car that knocked the pedestrian down and killed him stayed at the scene of the fatal attack boasting about the killing of the pedestrian.

I would call that premeditated murder! Guilty verdict whole life tariff awarded throw key away.

No need for politics or religion to used as any reason for mitigating circumstance, the evidence speaks for itself.

Exactly WHO is the author of the Jihad Watch article WBU & what are his credentials as an independent & responsible contributor as to the meaning of the Qur'an??

The author of the Telegraph article is a well known & respected journalist - Mehdi Hasan - who's credentials are there for the world to see..

Or is this yet another of your 'Jokes'??

Agree Astana these are bully boy thugs & they should be treated as such...

Yes, that certainly is it Bob bully boy thugs!

Just like another era where the excuse was 'I was just following orders' at the Nuremberg trials, it didn't wash then as an ideology of Nazism and it must not wash now as an ideology of religion.

Absolutely correct, except the murderers are the ones who claimed that they were doing it for their religion. They labeled themselves.

Additionally, this has now come out:
UK-based cleric inspired Woolwich suspect to behead Islam enemies
http://zeenews.india.com/news/world/uk- ... 50515.html
He said Islam permits such acts as he was not targeting civilians but was taking on a military man in an operation, which is considered to be a courageous and heroic act among Muslims in the Middle East.

So while the evidence is clear without the Islamic references, those who motivated the crime and executed the crime seek to credit their belief system for the crime. While motive isn't necessary to convict anyone in the US, having the defendant state his motivation on video tape is what has created the religious target.

When it comes to murder, I think religious motives in this context are greatly aggravating and make the jury's job much easier.

Oh dear WBU..

Yet another of your 'reports' that contains not one fact to back up it's ludicrous claims..

Complete 'made out of the air' story with the intention only to demonise the followers of Islam.
It contains not a single fact about either the attack nor those who carried it out...

Damn, why so nit picky? I'm beginning to think that you and JS are conspiring against WBU (UM Tag Team Federation-UMTTF) :D

Anyway...
The cleric Omar Bakri Mohammed has been secretly filmed stating that decapitation of the enemies of Islam was permitted. Today, in comments met with outrage, he told The Independent that he could understand the feeling of rage that had motivated the attackers and that what they had done could be justified under certain interpretations of Islam.

The 'cleric' mentioned in the article has not been in the UK since 2005.
For the last 3 years he has been languishing in a Lebanese prison.
He either speaks very slowly or the accused have a very long span between hearing anything & acting on it...

I do not think it is being nit picking to question an article like this...

It is nice to see that you are still on your buddy'e side in these matters though Papa - even if he is posting absolute rubbish..

As for being in a tag team with JS I guess when WBU stops posting garbage neither of us will feel any need to respond to it... :D

Without trawling thru this thread heres my take on this .

Having just seen the identity of the young lad brutally murdered and his distraught family ,,,,,,, made me feel very down
.....in turn very angry that such individuals as the killers are given right of abode in Britain , its a disgrace and the British government should shoulder some of the blame adopting such lax immigration laws for way too long ,,, Britain is already flooded with radical clerics and by their own admission there are thousands of islamic crazies simmering ready to blow .

Cameron , and the previous British prime ministers going back at least 15 -20 years should hang their heads in shame .

Nothing can bring this lad back or ease the sorrow of his family but hopefully this very sad incident can jolt the powers that be to stop the influx and kick out the radicals ... alas i dont think they have the balls to do it ,, Britain is indeed broken and will descend in to further chaos in the years to come .......thank god i got out when i did .

What no source...you demand it of others. Anyway, the following suggest otherwise...
Omar Bakri Muhammad left Britain for Lebanon in 2005 and was prohibited from returning to the UK. Although he was reported to have been found guilty of attempted subversion by a Lebanese court in 2010, he remains free.

Me too I am glad I got out. All I see from the British Government is hand wringing, and appeasement.

You should have also added the last piece from Wiki Papa...
It was reported on 14 November 2010 that he had been arrested by the Lebanese police and was being transferred to Beirut.[7]
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Omar_Bakri_Muhammad
Muslim cleric Omar Bakri Muhammad arrested in Lebanon

Either way he has been nowhere near the accused at least since 2005 & the article offers zero evidence of any description that they have EVER met or talked..

Forget all this childish tag team stuff. What I want to know why was an air ambulance, at an estimated cost of 5k an hour, sent to pick the sod up to take to hospital. He should have been left in the road to die as was his victim, after all he was quoting"an eye for an eye"Would have been poetic justice to me !.
Ageing is a privilige denied to many .

may be not that article, but....
Mr Bakri Muhammed said of the suspect: “I knew him as Michael when he came to the meetings and then he converted and he became known as Abdullah; I hear he then started calling himself Mujahid.

I can understand that the authorities would go to extra-ordinary lengths to keep these people alive in order to interview them TB.
Sadly the soldier has been murdered & not even execution of the perpetrators can alter that.

What is possible is that information gathered could result in stopping a similar horrific incident in the future. That is, of course, only the case if this was an organised attack. If it was then someone, somewhere has organised this. That is the person who needs to be found & permanently stopped in his (or her) tracks..

Some of the personal details that are emerging on the BBC about Michael Adebolajo (the elder of the 2 accused) tend to suggest that maybe this was not so much a terrorist attack in a 9/11 or 7/7 way as the actions of a highly disturbed person. But it will certainly take time for all the details to emerge.

100 % correct.......... a rusty squeeking wheel barrow should of been used not an air ambulance ...., no doubt after a lenghty stay in hospital , an expensive court case followed by appeals and prison time all at huge costs to the Uk TAXPAYER ... imo there has never been a better advert for the death penalty ... these attackers should get just that .....but still there will be the civil rights crazies and radical islamic supporters hell bent on these 2 killers receiving a fair trial ,,,,,, no trial needed ,,,, i may be missing something
