The Kiwi sleuths are into the speculation big time.

heres another piece of the puzzle lads.

" Freescale Semiconductor makes powerful microchips and had released a new electronic warfare gadget for military radar systems a week before MH370's disappearance.

The company had 20 'very important people' on the flight triggering industrial espionage and 'cloaking technology' theories. "

Getting back to reality, this may be of interest to those interested in the location of MH370:

http://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-27870467

Extract from the full article:
Inmarsat's scientists could tell from the timings and frequencies of the connection signals that the plane had to have come down in the southern Indian Ocean.

An Australian naval vessel was sent to investigate the region west of Perth, and followed up leads as they emerged.

But as Horizon reports, the Ocean Shield ship never got to the Inmarsat hotspot because it picked up sonar detections some distance away that it thought were coming from the jet's submerged flight recorders.

The priority was to investigate these "pings", and two months were spent searching 850 sq km of sea bed. Ultimately, it turned out to be a dead end.

"It was by no means an unrealistic location but it was further to the north east than our area of highest probability," Chris Ashton at Inmarsat tells Horizon.

The company's experts used their data to plot a series of arcs across the Indian Ocean where its systems made contact with the jet.

By modelling a flight with a constant speed and a constant heading consistent with the plane being flown by autopilot - the team found one flight path that lined up with all its data.

"We can identify a path that matches exactly with all those frequency measurements and with the timing measurements and lands on the final arc at a particular location, which then gives us a sort of a hotspot area on the final arc where we believe the most likely area is," said Mr Ashton.

Horizon is on BBC2 in Blighty tonight. They're investigating the MH370 mystery, khrap. It should be a good documentary.

Did you produce the documentary in your spare time Earnest? I hope maaka gets credits for anything he's been spouting. That would be a good launch pad for his No. 1 best seller.

No doubt this won't be the last documentary. The Chinese and Malaysians might have a go as well.

No report from Earnie. He might be out in the Indian Ocean maaka trying to become world famous by finding this damned plane. He's probably dreaming that if he can become an A list celebrity he can get free grog in any farang bar in Udon or even better any bar in China.

Here's a bit about the programme:

Warning - there was an ad or item for C string underwear on the page when I opened it. That has nothing to do with the missing plane.

Another Bangkok - Perth (return) flight just booked with MH.

TBH14,595 for a full service airline - can't beat it. And the best news is that the KL - Per - KL flights will be half empty, and I will be able to get my head down on adjoining unoccupied seats. =D>

The flight will be full of Chinese ghosts jack and they won't be paying a single baht. Be careful.

I take it you don't hold to the theory that some Colorado or Chinese teenagers or one of Bin Laden's boys can hack Malaysian Airline's computer systems, take control of the plane, disable all communications and send the plane crashing in the middle of nowhere. You better look into this one maaka.

If they are Cantonese ghosts, they will be looking at me as one of them - a Gweilo.

I will check back in with maaka a few days before I head to Bangkok in September, to see if he has any last minute updates and advice. But I am reasonably comfortable, as the flight will be in a crash-proof A330, instead of one of those always-falling-out-of-the-sky 777s. (I have blocked AF447 from my mind). :D

.... another strategy, if you don’t have a problem with triskaidekaphobia, is to book flights departing on the 13th of the month – it’s worked well for me in the past :D
Ashamed to be English since 23rd June 2016 when England voted for racism & economic suicide.

Not a problem Aardy - I checked, and can bring a parachute as cabin baggage, so long as it weighs less than 7kg.
