Its just comedy...but didn't really find it that funny , and not because it featured the maid either, , those two have done better with some of their newer characters....Surprised the Embassy of Tyneside is not on their case too.. :lol: :lol:

yes it just comedy, no big deal, people should learn not to take things so seriously , but guess they wont :fryingpan:

Staying on topic, 'mount a Phillipina maid', now that takes me back....Anybody know Neptunes disco in Wanchai? :-k

I guess some poeple just dont get British humour. Take the office as an example, when they took it to the U.S. they changed the format so the American audience could understand it. Mountains out of molehills I think .

Unfortunately I only know Wanchai of new (the last 3 years). I hear it was great fun when the Brits ran the show.
..Wish I had known it then as I still think it's great now \:D/ If only it wasn't so bloody expensive #-o

I was back there in March/April for the Hong Kong Sevens. The Saturday nights didn't seem to be as packed as they used to be when the girls got their escape chits and went out on the razz. But essentially it's still the same. The biggest change was Lan Kwai Fong, that place has really taken off since 1991.
