Missing Paul Rayment
Published Date: 28 April 2009
A 24-year-old missing man who vanished from his home more than 10 days ago has been found in Bangkok.
Paul Rayment left his flat on Charles Street, Berkhamsted, at around 4.30pm on Sunday, April 19 after saying he was going to the shops.
But he did not return or contact his family, friends, or work.
On Tuesday night (April 28) police finally tracked him down to a hotel in Bangkok.
During their 10-day search to find him police used mobile phone intel to track the building contractor to the Heathrow area where he was later spotted on CCTV.
Passenger manifestos revealed he had boarded a flight to Europe and he later caught a connection to Thailand.
Police were then able to track him down to the hotel he was staying in where they finally made contact with the former Ashlyns School student.
It is thought Paul will arrive in back in the UK within in the next few days.
